Richard “Rick” Landon, D.Min.

Richard “Rick” Landon, D.Min., is the Center’s Co-Clinical Director. He is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He is also a Psychotherapist (ACPE) and a Spiritual Director (SDI). He is endorsed by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. He has educational degrees from Oklahoma Baptist University, University of Oklahoma, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Lexington Theological Seminary. He has been an Adjunct Professor with The Baptist Seminary of Kentucky and a Chaplain/Pastoral Counselor with The Lexington Theological Seminary. He has worked with mission families in Europe through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.

Lisa Williams Cooley, L.C.S.W., M.S.W., M.A.

Lisa Williams Cooley, L.C.S.W., M.S.W., M.A., is a licensed clinical social worker with a pastoral approach to counseling. She provides supportive therapy for individuals, couples, and families. Lisa’s encouraging, engaging, and direct style emphasizes building on one’s strengths and making positive and practical changes. Much of her counseling focuses on the areas of stress and anxiety management, depression, women’s and singles’ issues, perfectionism, life and career transitions, relationship difficulties, codependency, parenting concerns, and blended family/step parenting challenges.

She is certified to provide premarital counseling using the PREPARE and SYMBIS assessments. Lisa has a Master’s degree in Social Work (clinical) from the University of Kentucky, a Master of Arts degree in Parish Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Auburn/Baylor Universities.​

Jennifer Degler, Ph.D.

Jennifer Degler, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist, life coach, working with adults and couples. Her practical and action-oriented counseling approach emphasized the important mind/body/soul connection. Dr. Degler’s areas of specialization include reducing anxiety and depression, coping with stress, facilitating life and career changes, improving communication and conflict resolution, and trauma recovery.

She also leads women’s and marriage retreats across the country and is the founder of CWIVES, a ministry to help Christian wives make their marriage sizzle. Her educational background includes a Doctorate, Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

James Stillwell, D. Min.

James Stillwell, D. Min., is a Kentucky Licensed Pastoral Counselor helping individuals and couple integrate their faith with their life issues. His many years of marriage counseling (using the GOTTMAN assessment) and leading divorce recovery workshops have led to his specialization in the areas of single adult issues, marriage enrichment, divorce recovery, grief, relationship difficulties, and premarital preparation (using the PREPARE program). Dr. Stillwell’s educational background includes a Doctorate in Theology, seminary Master’s degrees in Theology and Education, and Bachelor’s degree in Religion.

Dr. Elaina Barron

Dr. Elaina Barron is a spiritual director who has spent​ twenty-five years discipling and walking along side women of all ages in areas of next steps, transitions, marriage, parenting, listening to the Holy Spirit and deepening their walk with God. Her educational background includes a Doctorate of Ministry, a Masters of Divinity and a Bachelors in Business. She is the co-host of the “What You Love” podcast and offers soul care and discipleship to women across the nation.

Zoe Mullins, LCPA

Zoë Mullins, LPCA, is a licensed professional counselor associate
providing counseling to individuals of all ages who are struggling
with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, grief, adjusting to life
changes, and relationship difficulties. She specializes in working
with adolescents and young adults, and is comfortable integrating her
faith into her counseling approach for clients who are seeking a
Christian counselor. Her educational background includes a Master’s
degree in Mental Health Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary
and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky.

Our Fees

Our counselors’ fees, office hours, and acceptance of insurance vary. A counselor will return your call to personally answer questions about counseling and discuss appointment times, fees, etc.

Through the generous donations of caring Interfaith Counseling Center supporters, limited fee assistance may be available for qualified clients.
