Richard “Rick” Landon, D. Min., is the Center’s Director. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist, pastoral counseling educator and spiritual director. He and his wife are Member Care Counselors with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship working with mission families in Europe. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Baptist Seminary of Kentucky and the Lexington Theological Seminary. His educational background includes a doctoral degree in Pastoral Counseling, master’s degrees in Education Psychology and Divinity, and a bachelor degree in Psychology.

Lisa Cooley, L.C.S.W., is a licensed clinical social worker with a pastoral approach to counseling. She provides supportive therapy for individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. Lisa’s encouraging style emphasizes building on one’s strengths and making positive and practical changes. Much of her counseling focuses on the areas of stress and anxiety management, women’s and singles’ issues, life and career transitions, relationship difficulties, parenting concerns, and financial challenges. She is certified to provide premarital counseling using the PREPARE program. Lisa has a Master’s degree in Social Work, a seminary Master of Arts degree in Parish Counseling, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Jennifer Degler, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and life coach working with adults, adolescents, children, and couples. Her practical and action-oriented counseling approach emphasizes the important mind/body/soul connection. Dr. Degler’s areas of specialization include reducing anxiety and depression, coping with stress, facilitating life and career changes, enhancing female sexuality, and improving communication and conflict resolution. She also provides psychological testing and leads marriage and women’s retreats (see www.creatingchristianchange.com for more information). Her educational background includes a Doctorate, Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
James Stillwell, D. Min., is a pastoral counselor with the American Association of Pastoral Counselors helping individuals and couples integrate their faith with their life issues. His many years of leading divorce recovery workshops have led to his specialization in the areas of single adult issues, marriage enrichment, divorce recovery, and premarital preparation (using the PREPARE program). Dr. Stillwell’s educational background includes a Doctorate in Theology, seminary Master’s degrees in Theology and Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Religion.
Glenda Hill, M.A. is a licensed marriage and family therapist with experience working with families, individuals, and children. She has worked with victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence. He focus in therapy is helping people find God’s plan for their lives and how to put it in practice throughout the life span. Glenda is also certified to provide premarriage counseling, enrich marriages that need new energy, and build relationships in blended families. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and a Master’s degree in Counseling/Marriage and Family Therapy.
Evan Rowe, M.A. is a licensed marriage and family therapist with experience working with families, couples, individuals, adolescents, and children addressing a variety of issues such as: depression, grief/bereavement, stress and anxiety management, parenting concerns, and other family issues. He has experience providing crisis intervention for children/adolescents and their families. Evan focuses on the strengths of his clients while helping them transition through difficult life experiences. Evan is the Minister of Worship and the Youth Pastor at Midway Baptist Church. His educational background includes a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, a Master’s degree in Divinity, and a Bachelor’s degree in Religion and Philosophy.
